How do u get over your first love?

well, my 1st love and i started out as friends and then he expressed his feelings 4 me then i guess he got the hint that i felt the same so we dated 4 about 3 months and then i got 2 the point where i couldnt trust him any more so i broke up with him. well a week after we break up we start talking again and he tells me that he loves me and has never stopped and goes on about henever lied 2 me or meant 2 hurt me adn ask 4 me 2 trust him 1 more time but i said no. and up to this very day he always tells me that he is still in love w/ me and wont stop until we are together. well he doesnt know this but i still love him to and it kills me 2 just look at him or even hear him say he loves me.it melts me every time but i dont know if i was paranoid or what but just to be safe i am trying to move on. what should i do?

i think its a difficult situation. Just don't take decision based on the feelings. You feel so because you love him. But what if he cheats again? Person who have chaeted once can chaet again in life. try to take some time, think and then act,

Without trust it is hard to have a relationship. You don't say what he did that you don't trust him, so I am assuming he cheated on you. It is hard to have a relationship with a good friend because sometimes you end up losing a good friend when the relationship goes bad. But if it was meant to be you will find a way to make it to each other again. I don't know if the two of you are very young or older and more experienced, but sometimes it works out if you can talk about it and let him prove to you that you can trust him. He would have to earn it, though, you don't just give trust. If you really love him you might want to try to work it out. But not speaking to each other is not a good way to do that.
