Hmmm. Gore needs to turn in his award. Man-made Global Warming has proven to be the farce of the century. We definitely have to find ways to ensure a clean water supply. More should be spent on finding reserves of oil and natural gas, as well as developing alternative resources of energy. It is fine if construction slows down and we get to enjoy the countryside for a few years longer. However, China, India and South America will continue to expand and that will have some affect on the environment. We here in the US cannot be upset about that becasue we have wasted and continue to waste energy like it is going out of style. And Mr Gore will write a new book called, " All I Learned About Lying, I learned From Billy". Happy New Year

Humans including me are careless towards mother earth, so more air pollution, more water pollution, more sound pollution and global warming will be reaching alarming stage.

if people would quit using disposable diapers and pull-ups and go back to cloth diapers/plastic pants, there would be far less damage to the water and landfills that cause a great deal of the problems we face. But with the people in this day and age, impossible,to fast paced lazy. thanks for the discussion.

I think the first priority should be finding alternative energy sources... preferably before nobody can afford oil and gas.
