Are the parts for your car expensive?

My car parts aren't too expensive. But what the shop charges for labor is crazy.

I have an american made vehicle and the parts to it are not too expensive either. As far as fixing it, I fix it myself.

I wish that I knew how to repair cars. Bot the money I would save.
