If you were to kill a human meaning you would save 2 other humans, and the human you have to kill is pregnant?

I guess you could read all kinds of senarios into this, but I would rather save an unborn child. I look at this as a matter of potential. People who have already grown and would be in the position for me to kill, probably have made all the bad choices. Whereas we do not know what bad choices the baby would make until it has the chance to actually make them. So even though in lives, it becomes a zero sum; in potential the unborn child wins every time.

Ok what is the full scenario. This is kind of the not enough info to make a decision. First I would have to know why the other two were going to die if this the pregnant woman lived. If she herself why trying to kill them and if there was any possible way that all of them could make it out alive. I'm not one to take someone lifes into my own hands easily with out knowing everything there is to know about the situation. Knowledge is power and with out the knowledge of the complete situation I wouldn't be able to answer this question ... Sorry. But it's amazing that the responses you got those were able to make a decsion so easily.

I make decisions all the time with little to know information.Sometimes you just don't have everything you need, just like life a decision has to be made based on values.

yeah but even in the scenario there are no values .. I'm a mother of five I know that you don't always have everylittle detail but you know what if I had to take a persons life I would make sure I had as many possible detials as I could. If the Scenario said this pregnant lady was about to kill these two people and you had to kill her to save them would you? that would be a little more to go on. but kill 2 in order to save 2 there has to be another way.

If it is a stark choice such as that then I'm afraid I would have to opt for the mother and her unborn child. It would have to be 2 very special people I would be saving to make it a decision I could rest easy with although obviously it would be regrettable to sacrifice the others. I guess it would come down to base instinct to want to protect the unborn child.

Either way one looks at this 2 lives are going to end. If you don't kill the person who is pregnant, then 2 people will die. If you do kill the pregnant woman than you are killing her and her unborn child. I'm not one to mess with fate so I would just not get involved. Good question a real thinker.
