Well I live in a mobile home and have for all 18 years of my life. And to me it's just like a regular home. I stay the nights at friends houses and they dont seem much diffrent then my own home. A home is what you make of it.

I think regular homes are more sturdy I guess. But new mobile homes are actually becoming like real homes I think. They are becoming more bigger. I want to say I have seen some two story ones.

I don't think there is nothing wrong with mobile homes. I live in Middle TN, and after the tornadoes that ripped through here a few years ago, we were placed in Tornado Alley, so mobile homes isn't the best thing to buy, heck any home isn't unless you can afford millions to buy one that can with stand winds up to 150. I have an aunt that lost her mobile home in the tornados that ripped through in '98, but before destroying her home, it took a beautiful brick home and ripped it to shreds. My aunt was able to get a brand new, much bigger mobile home from her insurance company, only thing she had to put it in the same spot the old one was destroyed. In my opinon, the only advantage of a regular home over a mobile is that is during storms, it has a higher chance of standing in place and not blowing away. With mobiles, after the home is paid for, you can pay anyone to haul it to a new location that you want, much easier than a regular home.
