How late do you shop for Christmas and holiday gifts?

On Sunday, Dec. 23, I was watching the news and heard a weird statistic that said, nearly half of all Americans had not finished or even started their holiday shopping. Not sure if that's true. I got an early start this year. We've been shopping up a storm all month, looking for cute gifts for our daughter.
Many local stores are staying open past midnight, just to get the late shoppers. No way I'm going out that late, just to get a deal. Are you finished with your holiday shopping? How late did you shop for gifts?

I also heard that. Its amazing people wait so long! i dont wait that long. I couldnt stand to go shopping in such crowded stores. The latest i have went shopping is about a week before christmas. It has never been later then that. I shopped during the day. But i think it would have been better off late at night that way i wouldnt have gotten so annoyed.

I had all of my main Christmas shopping done. But I admit I was shopping on Christmas Eve for some stocking stuffers. I think it is mainly just because I love shopping. Even when I think that I am done, I always see "one more thing."
I knew I would be shopping for my husband's stocking stuff late though. We decided to wait until we got into town before we did our stockings.

I finished my shopping about a week before Christmas. I am not one to wait until the last minute to get bargais because everything is picked over.

I'll admit, I do some, not all, but some of my last minute shopping. Mostly what I shop for on the day before Christmas Eve is stocking stuffers. anything other that stocking stuffers, I have already bought and wrapped.

My parents have a really bad habit of shopping really late for christmas gifts. It amazes me that they are still able to give me, and my 3 sisters what we would like. Shopping late for christmas is quite dangerous if you ask me though. People fighting over parking places, and fighting over the last Playstation 3, or Nintendo Wii. When I have kids, i might have to start shopping December 26th, for next years gifts :x.

Shopping late is either the more awful experience or the greatest thrill. Whether it's dodging between people in a constant battle to get move, or finding those boxing day deals, it's something that people will always do. For those that do early christmas shopping, it's always easier. As for me, I went shopping on christmas eve for half the day.

Honestly, with the way some stores looked today, I bet a lot of people were still shopping on Christmas Eve for gifts. We just had 1 gift card to get on the 23rd, but I don't really call that shopping.

Hello dear beauty queen. It has been a long time that I have not got your new discussion till today. I guess that you must have enjoyed a lot from buying stuff for Christmas during this special season. But as it is not our traditional festival, I don't buy anything for Christmas, but for the Spring Festival that we have only. I wish you a Merry Christmas, dear beauty queen.
