I have this problem with my internet explorer. When i go to the myspace.com website my internet explorer encounters a problem and says it needs to close. But anyother website i go to it doesnt do that. So i tried upgrading my IE to the newer verions and it still didnt work. I tried rebooting that didnt work. My friend asked me if i kicked and no i havnt dont that yet but i doubt that will work...lol. Anyone know what the problem is here?

Microsoft recently did an upgrade (within the last week) that seems to be creating havoc on many peoples IE programs. Other problems: virus, you need a java update or flash update.
If I were you I would not use MySpace at all. I have known a few people who used and received viruses from MySpace and crashed their systems.
Go with firefox, it is more secure.

No that is not true. If you go to any myspace site that - for example - has a background that downloads or music that plays, that can place a virus on your computer.

Nasty problem there, I have one with photobucket.
IE jams and locks up if I use the photobucket search function.???? Beats me.
I would go along with the use a different browser suggestions and see what works on the website that you just have to use, or if it's not so important, son't use that site anymore.
If you are going to use Firefox, be aware it has bad memoery leaks, this means that it will not clear memory used by it. You will eventually have a slow computer or lock up. At least IE doesn't have memory leaks. I used firefox until I discovered why my computer was getting slower and slower, Firefox.

I say again, you KICK IT, have a merry xmas, and stay off myseizure.com cause it will cause serious medical conditions. as well as create stalkers, and massive brain hemoraging to all whom are affiliated with the flickering graffics and slow servers. :0 *gasp, smile, nod nod nod*

Try to check if you have blocked this site. Reset your browser, reset your cache and cookies, delete all history, and delete all private data. After doing those things, try to visit the website that you've been having problems with.
If the problem still persists, then I might recommend you to use another browser such as Mozilla and Opera. These two browsers are safe to use when compared to IE.
Mozilla and Opera used to block pop-ups, spywares that used to install without your prior notice, etc.
Merry Christmas! :-)

The new IE7 can cause a lot of problems and is generally not a good idea to upgrade. If it comes fresh with Vista then it seems to work ok. Mind you, then Vista can create other problems but that is another story!
Try to clear your cache and cookies - you may have picked up something that blocks Myspace.
The other thing to check is your security settings in IE. Sometimes other programs can change the settings.

i've encountered this problem before. some websites requires java to be installed. if you have not installed java in your computer and try to browse such sites which requires java to be installed, it will show this error. go to www.java.com and download java for free. install and open myspace to see if you still get the error.
if you have installed java but still getting same error, open internet options and see if java is enabled or not.
if you have installed and enabled java, but still you are not able to visit the website, check your firewall settings. it may be blocking.
for me, the first solution itself worked! if you still have problem, then its better to check for spyware or virus attack in your computer.

Well before I had switched to vista and was running IE 6 (the one before 7)
I had encountered currupted files which made IE always close after I had closed and re-opened IE.
This could just be something like that, not really a problem w/ IE or myspace.com
Or maybe it could be your firewall, virus-scanner, etc?
Could you give a little bit more information?
