merry christmas to you jill.mylot is a great place and i also have made many wonderful friends.i have only been with mylot a few months and i am totally enjoying it so much.it has now become my outlet and i am looking foward to the new year.cheers sue

Happy Holidays, my friend... I have Jewish heritage, but not the strength for 2 celebrations. Every few years, though, we break out the latkes, blintzes, and brisket... our kids and grandkids really enjoy the fact that they have a 'different' heritage. But we'll also have a Christmas with Tamales and flan... and many times these favorites are added to our regular Christmas dinner. We are a combination... there is no reason our buffet shouldn't be!

It was wonderful... our oldest daughter and her family, three of us cooking the best things, and our oldest and dearest friends as guests... it couldn't have been better!
