Here in UK with have good reason to be mistrustful of women leaders, having witnessed the harm our former PM Margaret Thatcher reeked upon Britain form her cynical and deliberate destruction of manufacturing and producing industries in UK to her running down of nationalised industries and their eventual theft from their owners, the British Public, to be sold off into private hands.
We might also think of the other female leaders of countries who have a far from exemplary record.

Hi there urbandekay.
If women played a large political and economic role, maybe the world's problems would seem less daunting.

I don't see any evidence to support that view point. In fact I think it would be worse.

Even though I am a girl, I prefer a male leader to guide me. I feel that males tend to be more rational when it comes to work. They do not allow their emotions to affect their work very much. I am saying this from my personal experience. I had this female boss who favors the guys more. She totally disregard her female employees. =X
Female leaders tend to get emotional and this might affect the work flow. Also, females tend to be more fussy about work.
My experience with male leaders have been good. They tend to be able to lead well. They are generous (important quality to have in order to be a leader).

Nope - no gender is better. It is the individual person who makes a good leader. Some men are natural leaders, some women are. And some of each are terrible. It also depends on what you think a leader is. A leader is someone who others will follow, it doesn't mean someone who is a good leader is a good manager. And there are people that are good managers who no one wants to follow but they can handle things well.
