I'm a beginner in Runescape, also known as a "noob". Does anyone have any advice on how to make Runescape money easily?

I use to kill chickens for feathers and sell them to people.

Do you know where to find people to buy them? And how much each sells for?

Making gp is easy. Develop your skills & don't buy supplies. The gatherers tend to overcharge for them which eats your profit. Almost any skill can be profitable if you think about & take the time to develop it. Don't expect fast cash when you start a skill, you have to have good levels in it.

sensible advice! Except there's really little fun in doing repetive work when training a skill... most unfortunately!

Thats why you multitask or work on your lowest skill until it no longer is the lowest.

multitask? On runescape? you mean training two skills at once? Or do you mean I should do something else like reading a book & train a skill at the same time?

When you are low-leveled, I would suggest killing chickens or cows taking the feathers/cowhide. If you want to make a lot of money, a good way would be smithing steel bars. To smith steel, you need to be 30 smithing and if you want to mine your own coal or iron then you need a little bit of mining. Otherwise, you can be your supplies off the Grand Exchange, (coal 150 and iron for 100 gp) this way you can make about 200 gp per steel bar.

Hmm... If you´re a non-member you can run air runes. People says that it´s a good way to get money. I haven´t tried it yet. If you are member, it will be easier. Like pick up flax or spin them into bowstrings. www.runehq.com can also help you. There you can find quest help. Good luck!

yes, i'm a non-member, so i'll go for the air-runes route. I've never tried it before, but... well, no harm trying! I'm hoping to get members soon though...

When I was a newbie, I used to get my fishing up to 40 so I can fish lobsters. So you can try making money with that. And since there's now a Grand Exchance, you can sell your lobsters easily. :) You can also raise your cooking level to cook lobsters, though I'm now sure if it cost more or less than raw lobsters, and you can burn them easily unless you have a good cooking level.

A very good way to make alot of money without to much effort (but membership is needed)is to pick flax. Only requires you to be member and have good patiens. Was a couple of months since i did it last, but i guess you can get bewteen 70 and 90 gp per flax. If you have more patiens you can take your flax and make bowstrings out of them, thus raising the income to 200+ per bowstring. A good place to pick plax is southwest of Camelot and if you feel like making bowstrings then Lumbridge castle is a good spot, now that there is a bank on the 3rd floor for members.
