I'd have to agree with you. Comfortably Numb is by far the best song ever. Best album ever is Dark side of the Moon.

Comfortably Numb is my second favorite. Wish You Were Here is tops for me. They both evoke a visceral response in me. They sadden and lift me. They capture me . They sweep me away. And what's better than being swept away - in music, books, movies, friendships, love..............?

I think the Dark Side of the Moon album is the best and I like every song on that album as with some of the other Pink Floyd albums. But if I had to choose a favorite song, I would choose "Money". I just love the way it starts out with the cash register clinging.

I have two favorites. I like In The Flesh and Wish You Were Here. In The Flesh starts off so incredibly strong and it sets the tone for The Wall album. Wish You Were Here is a classic tune because of the lyrics are so heartbreaking and easy to relate to. I love playing both of these songs on my guitar. When I play around with the effects on my awesome Marshall amp, it enhances the emotion, especially for In The Flesh.

Speak to Me/Breath from Dark Side of the Moon. I used it as my senior year, high school yearbook quote.

It has to be Comfortably Numb, this is my all time favourite track. I used to drive my neighbours nuts by playing Dark Side of the Moon after coming home from the pub on a Saturday night too.

'Time' is the one most shock me, because I'm 30, hear it together with 'The Great Gig in the Shy', oh my button!!!

It's hard to pick a song because I don't think of Floyd music in songs. I think of it by album. Each album is a cohesive work of art. But if I had to pick a song it would have to be Dogs. what a great song! It takes you in several different directions musically and string them together lyrically. It is genius. Second has to be Shine On You Crazy Diamond, for many of the same reasons.

My favourite one without doubts is Hey You. Both for its lyrics or melody. Second best would be Wish U Were Here.

I think that Wish You Were Here, Shine On You Crazy Diamond, and The Wall are my favorites. Wish You Were Here just has soo much emotion behind it, and so much meaning if you actually understand the time it was written in and what it is written about. Crazy Diamond is just such a beautiful song, the way all the instruments play together and create that melody is amazing. And The Wall because it has a lot of personal sentiment. It's me and my dad's song.
