Hello, Rosema!
I can't say I learn from all my mistakes. After all, I am sure that there are many mistakes that I make and cannot see. This happens to everyone. However, when I know that I made a mistake, I try to learn from it. It's a good thing to learn from your mistakes, but it's even better to learn from other's mistakes, this way you do not have to commit them. I do learn from both ways.
And you?
Respectfully.

It depends on te type of mistake. For the most part I do learn from my mistakes but wen it comes to dating and guys some of my frinds tell me that I don't learn. I ususally give people the benefit of the doubt befor I judge them or their character. But oh well, life is made for making mistakes. There is nobody in the world that is perfect.

I would like to believe that I learn from my mistakes and I guess most of the time I do when I acknowledge that I have made a mistake. To be honest I think it has become easier to acknowledge and more importantly to accept the mistakes I have made in my life so that in some sense I have learned valuable lessons.
I suppose it is important to look at the bigger picture and realise the steps that led up to a mistake as well as acknowledging the act itself otherwise the mistake will recur and no lessons will have been learned.

i think who i am is a product of my good mistakes. i learned from them. they made me a better person. however, there are mistakes that i keep on repeating. it is because they define and become part of who i am. if i don't commit them, i am taking away part of me. for example, pursuing a career through studies abroad is not a good mistake to let go of my long-time gf. i too think it was a mistake but, growing professionally is part of me. thanks for this discussion.

Good afternoon, dear rosema. It is right that to err is human. It seems impossible for us not to make mistakes. But what is the most important for us is to learn lessons from the mistakes that we have made so that we could do it better when we meet the same thing again. To be able to draw a good conclusion from our mistakes is a good summary to help us improve. Thank you, rosema.
