what is your computer name

if anyone has bought a pc pre built from companies such as ibm or dell then they and you have been ripped off. they overcharge and under spec their computers.

When I first read this topic, I thought you were asking whether or not I gave my computer a name haha. But the brand name of my computer is a Dell. It is quite reliable I have come to find out.

I have got two computers with me. One is Lap Top and another one is desk Top! The Lap Top is a Acer ! The Desk Top which I am using currently to answer the discussion is an assembled one! I have got it assembled Locally with most recent configuration! I use Celron Processor, Mora Mother boatd, Cabinet is one made locally ! My y Samsung. My monitir is also by Samsung that is 17" one! My Audia system is Intex and my pronter is of HP made. I use Scanner by Cannon and my UPS is Alcom made! I use my Sony Handy Cam as my default Camera. My Key borad is again by samsung and my optical mouse is also from the same company! This I di because it not only works out cheap but it also helps one to have the things of theior own likings and requirements and most important of all is that we can update such computers easily without much of financial losses which normally happens with branded ones when they are taken back for exchanging them with new ones! well i have an assembled computer only and is not of any particular brand,..... i do this as i love computers and stufs and wanted to buy and assemble on my own and choose my own required components...

i did assemble my PC from scrap and though i don't own my dream setup, i know i did save some bucks as compared to buying a pre-built one. :)

I have an Acer Laptop. Acer Aspire 5040 series. It ia a very reliable laptop and has served me well for the last 3 years. It is still in a great condition an I am hoping to use for many more years. I live in Thailand and Acer has excellent customer service/support centres here.
