Do you believe that taking an I.Q [intelligence quotient] test is a correct assessment of ones actually intelligence? Or is it culturally biased? Have you taken an I.Q test yet- and if so, are you happy with your results? Should cultures just completely do away with the I.Q test, considering that people can be gifted in other areas- such as singing, dancing, spacial, and language?

I think it is a good general assessment. I've spoken with people who's IQ was maybe 75 and I've spoken with people whose IQ was 175, and higher. There is a difference. I also believe that you can raise your IQ, it's not set in stone.

It is in my opinion that I.Q test are ot a correct assessment of intelligence. They do not give the candidate enough "benefit of the doubt" that he or she simply is not good in a particular subject, as opposed to another. It is almost as if they are meshed together.

I think it is somehow correct to check the intelligence level. It is quite scientific as I guess. But there are many types of IQ tests available. So it is quite confusing too that whichh is correct. But it is not complete assessment to intelliegence as I think.

I have taken an IQ test before and some of the things that they ask you are just plain dumb, i don't think it really assesses a persons full potental...Its just a bunch of mumble jumble that you never in your life would use.My IQ test showed me as average, not below or above..I think a person can have all kinds of natural talents that that test cannot assess..I was ok with my results.I think when it comes to judging a person by that test that it should not be used.People are gifted in lots of area's that the test could never pick up by the ignorant questions that they ask.I had much rather have common sense. The test i took had mostly math problems and i did not excell in math. I have a high school education and a year of college and several college hours and credits and as far as i am concerned the test does not do you justice...
