Linux- Is It In You?

What truely makes the linux system better then the Microsoft OS and the MAC OS X? Is their a different in reliablity and dependability?

Well, what makes it better first of all is the cost of the operating system. Windows and MAC OS cost much while linux comes in for free. They somewhat have the same interface and user applications and server applications. I think the best part of it is its Free!
