Now I want to ask such questions: How about the teachers' income in your country? Is it high or low in your country compared with that of other jobs? Are teachers in your country love their jobs? When you graduate from school, are you willing to be a teacher? What kind of job do you like best to do?

In India, a techer will be paid somewhere between $20-$600 (in terms of dollors). I dont think teachers will be very happy with it. The increments are very less, and it happens once a year or so. Also, promotions do not happen frequently.
I dont like being a teacher. Its a hectic work. Kids could get on to your nerves ;)

Do you mean the teacher of high school?if yes, these teachers gain a little more than other job,and most important is the stability. They can support their family easily and very stable without very hard work.
Then if you refer to these teachers of university,I have to say that they live a high quality life with less work. That's why some of my classmates try to gain their PhD's degree.Because they wanna be employed by universities.

In my country... a teachers salary is not enough to support a family with two children...a teacher's family is below the poverty line... this is the main reason why most teachers resort to selling stuffs like food and school supplies to their students...years ago... the govenment made a move to increase the salary of public school teachers but... there was very little increase in the years that follow...
When i graduated from college... i immediately started teaching but had to quite partly because i want to earn more money so that i can save for my own family...

What a pity! To be a teacher in such a place is really a sad thing. But do not be heart-breaking. Things always go well in the future. I hope that your life will be better, and I hope that your government will pay more attention to your class and improve your salary.

i think it's pretty high im my country.also they have the walfare that many other gounps of people don't.most of them ,like these jobs .i think it's uneasy.but we can't deny there're numous teachers who just regard it as a tool to make money.they just force themselves to do so and show no enthusiastic .teaching ,in my opinion,is pretty boring.they teach the same content once and once again.it also calls for great patience.so i consider it hard to insist on this job.according to all these , i won't make up my mind to be a teacher.i'd prefer to be a translator or interpreter.i like languges.i want translate all the excellent Chinese culture i take pride in to the world .

in public schools 10,000-12,000 pesos about 250 us dollars not including benefits and Christmas bonus.
in private schools 5000-20000 depends on how big the private school is.
just check for the conversion...5000 pesos is not a lot of money...you'll die here if you're earning money that big.
I don't think teachers here love their jobs and i salute those who do!
Well I took education as a course in college..and i'm willing to be a teacher..I actually applied for a job as a teacher and i'll probably earn the lowest salary...5,000 pesos...i'm thinking of getting tutorial jobs and take a summer job that will be additional for my earnings..
and hopefully i'll earn something from my blog.
I definitely want to be a musueumu curator or an archeologist...i have to earn money first to take a masteral degree to become one.

Seeing from your name, I guess that you are a Chinese. Chinese teachers are respectable. They earn a low salary but they do the hardest work. A teacher is always compared to a gardener that work diligently and silently. In China, teaching is called "the most brilliant job and cause under the sun".
