How many of you got socks for Christmas?

This year I got socks for Christmas and I actually like them. LOL!!
I got the kind that have the little grips on the bottom to wear around the house. They are so warm and actually do keep you from slipping on the kitchen floor. LOL!
If you got socks this year, did you like them or wish you would have gotten something else?

When I looked under the Christmas Tree this year, I was so excited to find out that I did not recieve any socks for Christmas. The feeling that overwhelmed me was crazy. I mean, socks are not a bad thing to get for Christmas, it is just that sometimes an individual does not want to recieve things such as stripped socks.

No, I didn't and I usually do. I'm kind of disappointed that I didn't get any. I usually get those thick wool socks that are so nice and warm in the winter and I almost always get some funky socks from my mom-in-law that are always so soft.
I even told my hubby that I was a bit disappointed about not getting socks... hopefully he'll buy me a few pairs ; )

I am actually sorry I DIDN'T get them, I find socks very very useful as I'm always losing mine, don't ask me why, because for some reason I keep ending up with odd socks, I do ball them up in the draw, it's the transition from the basket to the washing machine that they suddenly vanish! I did get boxer shorts, but sadly no socks this year!

a co-worker gave me, unbelievably, those low cut nike sports socks. or are they called ankle-length socks? they're normally worn with sneakers and when you wear them, you almost don't seem them coz they're level with the sneakers.
anyway, it's been a long time since i got socks as a gift so i really appreciated it too!

I didn't get any socks but, I asked for slippers. My daughter was supposed to get them for me but she still hasn't came over to celebrate christmas with me. She says maybe next week. Meanwhile, my feet are freezing. lOL
