Should children be beaten up ?

What do you say? It is believed that parents have the authority to punish their children so that they would remember not to make the same mistake again. And only parents have the rights, from whom they also get to experience the 'unconditional love'!
It is much better to handle it without hurting the little hearts by correcting them with proper counseling.

beating children every times doesnt make any good sense !a child will be habit of getting beat by parents and will never be afraid henceforth !!so it is better to take our children by our words !! by counseling nicely and citing many good examples of great people deeds and all!! Its totally depend on parents !how they care their children !! i dnt believe on beating !! I believe on lovely compromise by parents !!! Human emotion is more important!!children can be confined by our emotions !

I believe that it is wrong to beat a child , as it would be to beat anyone. rather, to show them by example what is right and wrong. by getting down to their level and talking about the issue. also to remove priviledges has helped with my own kids. for instance, taking away tv, phone, computer, visits with friends.
