original ocean's eleven / myLot

Has anybody here seen the original Ocean's Eleven with Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra and the rest of the Rat Pack. Personally, I haven't seen it yet, but I heard it is much better then this version.

Is it the same story? I heard the characters are much cooler in the original, is that true.

I never knew that "Ocean's Eleven" was a remake, because I have never heard about the original movie. I agree that this is a really interesting movie, and what makes it more interesting is that in this movie, all well known stars gathered and did crime. Can't you imagine George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon and Julia Roberts are on one team against Andi Garcia? I believe that this movie is a really high budgeted movie, so that they can pay all those stars at once. Talking about smart... well, I know that this movie is a really smart movie, but compared to 21, and The Italian Job, I think it is still left behind. But... I like Ocean's movie more because there are more comedy, and drama than 21 and The Italian Job.
