Well do you know who you are and where your ancestors come from? My geneology is Maori, European - Irish, English. I relate better to my indigenous side because I ve seen so much injustice done to indigenous peoples around the world by european people. All in the name of economics and me, me, me. I just dont get those fullas. I know Im Maori and happy to be Maori. I know my ancestral homelands and its awesome to pass the knowledge on to the kids. How bout you?

I really don’t know. Surprising though it may seem, but India has been a mixing-pot of many races throughout the ages. One thing I know is that I have not European blood in me as because Hindus were particularly careful to avoid Christians and Muslims. However, my ancestral home is in Bangladesh which is very close to Burma and Indo-China. If I study my facial features carefully and that of my family, I do think there is a trace of Burmese/Chinese feature in us, but then again I am not sure and being refugees from Bangladesh, my family could barely escape to India with their lives intact. So they had to leave behind most of the family possessions and hence much of that heritage is lost forever.

I'm a pure Chinese from the Foochow clan. So are my ancestors. I too had been to my Foochow province in China and visited the homeland of my ancestors. My dad (who is a pure Foochow too) married my mum who is a Hokkien (another chinese clan). Therefore, I'm half Foochow and half Hokkien. My family has 2 huge book of family tree going few generations back and I am proud to show it to everyone that I know.

I have Native American ancestry, Cherokee Indian to be exact. On my fathers side my grandfather was full blooded cherokee and my grandmother was half cherokee and half something else. Dutch or English we think. On my mothers side I am part Irish and part English. My great grandmother on mothers mothers side was born in Ireland. So I am about 1/4 indian, 1/4 irish, 1/4 dutch and 1/4 something else. Or I could be 1/3 f each if the something else is Irish or Dutch.
I am proud to be of indian heritage and know more about it than anything. I would like to trace my Irish ancestry.
