Some girls don't but others love it because it boost their self confidence and how about you? I like the ones that feel nice on the skin and give good coverage and not to forget lasts the whole day so that you don't have to worry about reapplication. What is your reason for wearing it?

actually,my skin is not that perfect as you thought,i just don't like the feel of having the makeup on my face,i don't form the habit of wearing a makeup,i think once you form such a habit,it is hard for you get rid of it,and it seems that you will lose your confidence without wearing your makeup. It is lucky that i don't need to wearing a mekeup for my work.

Yes you are right that those who have made a habit of wearing it everyday can be hard to break it. That means they have become very self aware of it and their looks and need to feel confident every day to go out into the world for what ever they need to accomplish or do. It can be sad but well it is good that they feel good at the end of the day.

That is cool perhaps you don't need it or feel the need to wear it because some people usually wear it to cover imperfections or blemishes. There are others that just don't like the feeling of it on their skin too. It is good when you don't need it because your skin looks good without it.

I rarely wear makeup. If I have to go outside, I just use lipstick and eyeliner. If I have to go to a really formal party, I will put the "warpaint" on and shock my hubby, LOL!!! He knows I hate putting stuff on my face--except cleanser, toner and moisturizer. When I was younger I would not and could not go out of the house without the "works" but now I just can't be bothered. I really do think that keeping my skin bare (but moisturized) and eating more healthy stuff gives my skin a nicer glow. Happy new year, bluemars, and blessings to you and yours!

Oh thank you so much and happy new year to you also. Yes I sometimes can not be bothered like I used to when I was younger but if I am going some place and am having a little outbreak then I may need to work with a concealer type of thing. I hate those times and it usually happens when you don't want them. Seriously if skin was not so flawed like that perhaps others would also feel the need to wear less too. I do understand all of what you are saying too.

Wow! Thanks so much for the BR, bluemars! That's a nice new year present--all the best! Another healthy skin tip---drink lots of lemon water. Lemon is a potent detoxifier and your skin, eyes, and hair will thank you for it. Take a lemon and squeeze the juice into a container of filtered water (a 1 liter plastic bottle full) and sip throughout the day. Happy sipping....

Yes thank you for the tip and I hope the new year brings new found and better health to you and yours. I am very much liking the humble lemon but also enjoy many different types of fruits too. So happy eating too.

I'm 22 and I haven't ever wore make up.I always liked the idea of natural beauty.I do try to use the moisturizer once in a while for my hands and legs because they seem to go dry.Nothing on my face.I feel that whatever you wear on your face, blocks the air pores which the skin breathes through making it lose its glow.It also saves up on not spending for make up :)

Well if you can get away with it that is great! I know there are some people that don't really need it at all and are fine with what they have been blessed with. That is great but if you are not so well endowed with good skin it can be pretty for those that need that extra confidence booster.

I often wear make up, I do like wearing it. But I don't wear make up all the time. I used to wear it everyday but I find now that I am taking better care of my skin and have gotten rid of my acne I find that I don't need to wear it all the time.

I guess it really helps when your skin is clearer and that helps you manage it better when it comes to the coverage. Less is more then I guess. It is nice to be able to not rely on it but it does help those suffering from acne to make it less obvious.

I'm and probably always will be in between with makeup. I love makeup its the best thing in the world. I just don't like to put makeup on my face all the time. If I do wear makeup I'd only do my lips and eyes. I dont wear blush or any of the other stuff. Its funny because I'm sort of an aspiring makeup artist because I love to make up someone else's face.

I guess that is the creative person inside you trying to come out. It is so much fun also all the different looks that one create with makeup too. I know so many girls that really have so much fun with it especially before a big night out. It really can make a dramatic difference sometimes and people notice the changes and I think people love the confidence it can give too.

Yes, I don't really wear any if I am not going any where but if I am leaving the house I at least where a little. The older I ger the more necessary it is becoming.

Yes it can really create the look are after too. It can be quite fun you know the whole process too, but if you get busy then perhaps it can be quite time consuming but it is getting simplier with things like mineral makeup with which is so easy and quick to apply.

Well I like wearing make-up because it can make you look beautiful, and it affects your self-confidence and work. But I make sure that my make-up is light. Just a 'no make-up' make-up look will do. I don't use eyeshadows. Just lipstick and I dab it twice using tissue, eyelash curler, perfume or cologne, foundation on my face and around my neck then I'm good.. I'm ready to go. :) Oh, plus accessories. Another trivia, can't go to school without earrings. Just a pearl earring. It makes me feel good. And oopss.. before I forget, beauty is in the state of mind. If you're confident, you're sexy. That's it. -------------------------- kindly visit my blog: http://irisvision.wordpress.com thanx!

Well that is a really good way of looking at it. I mean yeah there are so many young people that have a low self esteem and it really helps them to feel better about one thing that they are judged on growing up. It can be a cruel world sometimes. I don't know why some kids feel the need to hurt others but yeah it can scare them emotionally for life. Confidence is as you said in the mind.

the most i wear is eye shadow or lip stick...mostly just because i think it helps me feel like i didn't sit around at home with two kids and get nothing accomplished all day i don't like concealers or foundation...makes me feel gross and most of the time i think it brings the blemishes out more... i was more of a tomboy as a kid, so i don't really know too much about make up at all - its been mostly trial and error!

I know some of them do not feel nice on your skin but you do like you said have to trial them all in a way to find one that suits your needs and that fits into your lifestyle like the mineral powders are easy to apply and make it quick when you have a busy life to lead.

I really want to have flawless skin. Makeup doesn't really give them for me but it's closer than not wearing any.

Yeah it really does give off that illusion sometimes that it is flawless and if it helps a person's confidence, why not yes? Many people feel very self conscious about their skin or blemishes to be exact so it is nice to know there is something out there that can aid if not cure their problem.
