People who see the future

In the Bible there were people who could see the future..do you believe that there are people today who can see the future? Whe wiseman followed a star to find Jesus..do you think there are still signs in the sky that tell us things?

Hello little franciscan! I have not read in the Bible a person, even men of God, who could see the future! It is only God who knows the future. He revealed what will happen to the future to men through His people who wrote the Bible. God's creation points to one direction - that there is a creator, God. And God gave his only begotten Son as the "ONLY" way to God. Read John 14:6. It is not religion, it is not wealth, fame, goodness, or anything we can boast!

I beg to differ the prophets of the old Testament did see the future..and in Ana in the temple said of Jesus: "a sign to be contradicted" " a sword will pierce thy heart" God gives many gifts..and He gives of Himself to His children..there are gifts of prophecy and prophecy is foretelling the future.

Who gave the gift of prophecy, by themselves or God? If you have known that God is the only one who knows the future, you will understand what I mean. If not, then I pray that God will give us understanding. Have a blessed day!

NO doubt God gave the gift..but it still is there..God allows some people to see and share this gift!
