Medical Transcription

I have just started training to be a medical transcriptionist. I am studying through the CareerStep program. I am wondering if anyone else has done the same thing? any good/bad experience? tips to help?

I graduated from Career Step in 2006 and was offered a job the day after graduating. It's a good course and it prepared me well. Let me know if you have any questions. :)

I just started with the CS program this week, so can't offer any tips yet. I am in the same boat as you and have many questions myself. Good luck with your studies!

Hey cool. I started taking a medical transcriptionist class too. I haven't done it lately though because of my kids. I've been slacking. I am not doing it online, I'm doing it through the mail. I send it tests and get them graded. I think the course is pretty easy so far. I am looking for tips too, so I cant be much help. Sorry.
