Dec. 13th was the anniversary of my Father's death. Normally I just work extra hours or try to forget this fact, but a friend of mine was fixated on death and dying around that time. I became very sad.
I think my cat new I was sad. He was so-o-o funny!
First he played peek-a-boo with my husband's slipper, he would duck his head behind the tongue of the shoe and back out again. Then he stuck one foot into each slipper, then put his butt down against his back legs, wiggled his butt and slid one shoe forward at a time. It was so funny to see my cat in my husband's size 11 slippers and making them move. I got his bird fishing pole to get him out of my husband's slippers so he wouldn't scratch up the insole, but he just tried to trap the feathers between the slippers. He even turned them sideways at one point.
Later on, he was batting a potato around the house, my cat is such a card!
Does your cat do anything that makes you laugh or smile?

My cat is an attention-seeker. Whenever i want to read the newspaper or a book, she will lie on it like her bed. Attempts to shoo her away always fail. This also happens when im playing my psp, she will just lie right on my psp and look at me with a -__- face. hahaha i just find them so cute and amusing.

Yes, they're so cute and amuzing. My cat is also jealous of the newspaper and anything else I read, magazines, books, etc. Take care

Cats are wonderful! I got my cat a few years back when my best friend went into the hospital followed by assisted living. My friend ended up dying and she left me one of her cats. We call her the queen because she likes to sit in a regal manner as she oversees the happenings in "her" house. She is so silly; she likes to throw her leg over your arm when you scratch her belly. Having her makes me miss my friend less. I am very thank to my friend for leaving me such a presious gift.

I can't even look at my cats without smiling. My avatar is two of them when they were kitties, they were playing in those boots. In fact I can't even think about my cats without smiling.
I love to startle them when they're stalking something and watch them leap into the air.
They are my teachers in life.

Oh yes, cats are definitely teachers. Cute avatar. Mine springs into the air when I play with the fishing pole. Try that sometime, he gets some real height there. Take care and thanks for responding.
