Sharing of knowledge on guitar

I will discuss my knowledge of playing guitar with anyone who is interested. If there is just something you would like to know about playing guitar I will try my best to help you or if you would like to know all that I know then just let me know. Any question is appreciated and I will try to the best of my ability to answer it for you.

i play the guitar a little myself, but would want to improve on my skills. speciffically advance skills! any exercises that you could share?

How many chord fingerings do you know. If you need a way to pass time and increase response time then this excercise will work. It helped me go from 80 bpm to 240.
First write down every chord formula you know.
Next write down all the notes that corresponde with the chord formulas.(note that not only will this one section of the excercise help you remember the chord formulas it will also help with chord letterings.)
Now draw a diagram of your fretboard. like the one below:(If you don't use standard tuning then you can change the appropriate strings to match.)

For those of you who are reading this and don't know after the 12th fret on the guitar the chromatic(all musical notes)scale starts over. In simple terms the 13 fret is the 1st fret,14th the 2nd and so on.
Now on a standard sheet of note book paper make a diagram like the one below.

This will be where you write the tabs for the chord fingerings but not until later on. Now that you have all of the resources handy(note this part of the excercise doesn't actually require your guitar)you can begin. Which ever note you chose to be the root of your first set of chords will be your target. Start on the top E string and search for that note. Once you find it mark it on your TAB(the second diagram)on the appropriate string. Now move down to the A string and search for other notes in the chord(note that some notes will only be playable as appreggios).

I just came to the realization that I can save a lot of people a lot of time by just posting everything I know in the form of guitar lessons. So instead of finishing this post I am going to begin working on the lessons post which will be titled guitar lessons. Two of the more recent guitars i've had experience playing are the Hondo Fame Series 760(mine) and my friends Yamaha. They both have slim necks to me but i'm 6'3" so they might seem a little thicker to you than they would me. They both have a clean sound (if you don't like overdrive like i do). One excercise you can do to improve the accuracy and dexterity of your fingers even if you do consider them to small is as follows.

This is one continous excercise(You play the entire thing atleast four times a day.) After you become accustomed to the fingerings you can then set a metronome to 60 BPM and play along. After you have mastered it at 60 BPM the move up to 61 BPM and so on. Doing so will not only improve your accuracy and dexterity but it will also improve your timing.
