Some NGOs have truely changed peoples' lives, take the case of Oxfam UK-it has helped my people in Northern Uganda with sevices that government had virtually failed to do in the war torn region-people are getting equipment and extension service and are actually picking up their wrecthed lives once again. I think OXFAM has left an impact in my country!

i suppor world vision, they send children in some rural areas, and some poor countries to school via a monthly contribution. I chose a child that i help support monthly.
i checked the sites, the people who have also supported world vision. it is legitimate and have other offices in our countries.
i have even thought of applying for a job with them in my attempt to actually help these people. i just could not afford it at this time because i am still supporting my family's needs.
