I fear getting stabbed, we have a terrible knife culture in the UK and there are so many attacks with knives, so many people are carrying them, mainly for their own protection, it is a very worrying trend, trouble is there is no deterrant and if someone is caught they are not given a stiff sentence, so people are given cart blanche to walk around with them and use them to mug, threaten or stab people. Doesnt matter if you can handle yourself with fists, a knife is no match for a punch!

Dear Apsara why should I be afraid of a thing that I am so families and proficient with,Hindi.Ha ha ha. And here are some facts about spiders to cure your Arachnophobia. Little Miss Muffet of the nursery rhyme really existed. She was the daughter of Dr Mouffet who believed spiders had healing powers when eaten. The weight of insects eaten by spiders every year is greater than the total weight of the entire human population. There can be up to nearly 5 million spiders per hectare. The combined length of thread in a spider's web is about 20-60 m and it can take the spider up to 3 hours to make an orbweb. On an equal weight basis, spider silk is twice as strong as steel. In addition, spider silk is very elastic. It is this combination of strength and stretch that makes the energy-to-break of spider silk so high. Simply put, it is the toughest material known. Spiders have 48 "knees": 8 legs with 6 joints on each. A jumping spider can jump up to 25 times its own body length And as far as I am concerned i detest and very scared of the snakes.

Dearest bala, You know what, the strangest thing on earth is being alive, that's how I feel. Even then, the thing which I fear the most, at this point in life, is losing my loved ones. I fear unpredictable passing away of my dear ones leaving me shattered, torn, vulnerable and all alone!

It is very strange to think of the meaning of ourselves being here. And why do we make such a hue and cry over the petty things during the shortest stay.At times I wonder whether it is worth living this life for the whims of the Creator alone. The only thing that brings some meaning to this life is our near and dear. But it is sad that everything is temporary.Or is it happy ?

Mine is to be in a dangerous situation or when there is a threat to my life or the life of my loved ones...whatever it is. Big waves aboard a fastcraft, vehicular accidents, a near plane crash, ambush, etc. I thought I am strong enough, but realized that I am not. I experienced dangerous situations several times and I could feel my body shiver with fear in spite of my prayers. Of course, I understand that we have to trust the Lord to deliver us from harm but I just can't control my self. I simply have goosebumps whenever I'm in a dangerous situation...

Do you mean besides spiders and giant cockroaches? House rats? We don't have any of those, but I have a vivid imagination. What I fear most is drowning I think. Then burning, then suffocating. That covers 3 of the elements, so I guess the 4th would be getting buried alive?

The thing I fear most in my life which holds me back a lot is dying alone and being forgotten. Basically, I really want to make my mark on the world. I fear leading a mediocre life in which I accomplish nothing. As for basic irrational fears; I fear snakes. I'm terrified of them.

I think that I have answered a question like this recently on Mylot. I think the thing that I fear the most is admitting what I fear the most. I have heard that the thing you fear the most will happen to you.
