T. V. Trays or Dinner Table - Which Do You Use Most

We are a product of the media generation. I still fix breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday. Our breakfast is eaten at the table, together. Our lunch is usually hand held and quick and our dinner is 9 times out of 10 eaten on TV trays in front of the television. We gather once a week at the supper table but other than that I love eating in front of the television. Where do you eat most of your meals? At the table or on tv trays or maybe some place else.

We use the table the most. We always make it a point to eat dinner together each night.

I would like to say the dinner table however; I would say it is mostly on TV trays. I feel bad and I wish that we would take more time out to eat dinner at the table, but I just feel like there is so much to do and not enough hours in the day. It is sad that our generation has taken it to this level and I hope that the next generation of families will eat the dinner table more often. When my children are born I hope that we will share more meals together.

That's why I always insisted on one night a week. We made it family night where everyone's prescence was required. NO excuses. It helped us a lot to know we could have at least one meal, all at the same time, together, as a family. Make the time - once a week - make it mandatory. It a great time to keep up with what's going on in everyone's life. I mean, we keep up, naturally, but there's something to be said about our fast paced society and dinner with the family once a week.
