High school: good or bad memories?

Ah high school... now there is one thing that I would never want to do again. And that is even where I would have what maybe described as a wonderful high school experience. I can't say that I have any bad memories, everything thing went as it would expected in high school, I played sports, I had a girlfriend, I had friends, everything was wonderful. But the one thing about high school that I did not enjoy, I didn't realize until I was out of high school. High school did nothing to prepare me for the "real" world. I got by in high school with out even trying, it was a happy fun time... and then when I got to college I started to understand how the real world worked, I learned that most people tend to be so fake it is unbelievable. So would I want to go back and relive those fake a s s times, oh no.

I went to private religious school. Probably why I don't go to church.

AH... High School. Wonderful memories and feelings for me. IT was some of the best time of my life. Maybe things really are much more different, or not, after all the fighting and the follow the leader and all the rest, also happened at the time i was in High School. I guess what made it such a good time was that I really didn't care about those things. I didn't care about cliques or being popular - although in the end, just because of that, I was - I didn't care about being with only one group, I had friends in all groups and enjoyed them all - better yet I was accepted in all LOL I have great feelings about high school. My friends, the school itself, the teachers most of it was great. Sure there were some upsets here and there, but the general feeling is: very good!:):):)

i have got both good and bad memories..but bad memories appeared most in my last year of my high school.Thats include being late,im amongs the one who have to face the discpline master always due to some reasons..Im consider a good girl but then my late coming have effects on that.Im kinda popular that time because people know me as the late comer..ehhe..im improving on my time management now. For the good,its about the memories with friends,extra school activities held and all the new experiences gained.Im not really missing my high school because my last year there was kinda a ruined one..hahaks.But still,i will always my memories there.=)

I have a lot of great memories from high school. These were the years where I was gaining freedom but still had very little worries like rent, bills, family, etc. I can't really remember much of the bad things because what marked me most was the fun I had with friends. I guess each person will feel different, it depends on your experiences, luckily for me I had a very positive social experience in high school.

i enjoyed school but was glad to leave and start work i didnt go to high school it was secondary modern in my day i didnt pass anything so i left when i was 15

High school has taught me alot of things, it made me aware of what to do and those NOT to do. I also experienced some adventures, even without realizing that I was experiencing it already!LoL When stepping into college, there I realized that my high school days are nothing the same as in college. Here in my country, a singer even rendered a song about how fun and exciting high school life was. For those who always say that high school was boring, well I guess they were much too serious at a very young age already!LoL

I have good and bad memories...I think this is the way it is for most people. Sorry that you have bad memories though....at least high school is over now!

I have mostly fond memories of high school - there were some bad times, but for the most part, life was easy back then.

I had mostly a good time at secondary school. In the first year I liked the school grounds. It had a huge field, areas with trees, and a lovely garden behind the oldest part of the school. My friends and I enjoyed walking round it, running about and climbing trees. In the third year I was there we got involved with a friendly water fight. I tried hard with the subjects that I enjoyed like English, History, Geography and Art. I hated Science and went to ask the head teacher if I could change it to another subjects. He was a scary man that was known for hitting very naughty students with a cane! These days in my country this sort of violence in schools is illegal. Amazingly he said that I could do RE. I didn't like Maths and I hated PE. The PE teachers were quite nasty. One of my friends forgot her trainers and has to do tennis in bare feet! Her feet got cut and sore. I used to throw the tennis ball into the hedge and go and sit down behind some bushes. It the PE came over I would say I was searching for my lost tennis ball. Aged 16 I did my GCSE exams that was stressful. My sister hated going to that school but I liked it there more than her.

I've had good and bad memories in high school. Most of my first times happened in highschool, first time to fall in love, first time heartbreak. that's why i have both good and bad memories. that's what makes highschool memorable.

oh, i had good memories of my high school years. i was young then and crazy. i tried things during that stage. i was learning a lot as a boy. then after high school, i think i became a man. maturity wise, i was able to reach a certain level of frankness and staright decision-making. it was an impotant stage of my life. thanks for the discussion.

I have both good and bad memories about life with classmates in high school.My high school is a boarding school so I had a lot of time with them.Playing,studying,and breakfast,lunch,supper we shared.Too much touch will also lead to both friendship and conflict.However,with time goes by,in my mind only left is friendship,golden memory,miss each other.

I really hated some of my classmates who loved to criticize everything and everyone, but others were very good. I have good memories about school trips or jikes we shared. It's only a matter of luck, if you go in a class with all snob people then you are doomed.

hi to be frank i do not have many memories from my high school days coz that was abt 15 years ago and i feel that i m suffering frm bit of amnesia-but then there was nothing worth remembering except for those pretty gurls-but they had their own boyfriends. my gurl is nostalgic-but not of her high school dayz but school days.

i have a lot of good memories in high school. those were the days when we were all laid back. all u think about is your homeworks, quizzes...and then after that, you just hang-out with your friends. it was really fun during high school, if i would be given a chance to relive those memories, i would be more than happy to go back to those times. i really miss my high school friends.

I have great High School memories! Complaining about homework, doing fun stuff after school.. it was great =). Altough I understand why some people didnt like high school.. when you are bullied everyday I'd also hate it. Anyway, I didn't go to a American high school.. since I live in Holland.

yeah lots of good memories , fights that would make the class stop and when the class stoped we never got homework , lunch , the cheerleader chicks, the jocks ,the weird floks , the band people , ..i knew at least one person from every group in high school , but i learned to grow in high school cause i wasnt the way iam not like the way i look , i would wear extremly baggy jeans with the same pair of sneakers and not take care of my hair like i do now , or my face in 9th grade i swear my face was extremly greesy like W-D40 haha ...or like the way i talked everything ..it was a great exprience and every parent should let their kids go to public high school ...

some bad memories that i have when i was in high school was a group of girls loves to bully one of my friends. i'm kinda war freak that time so we just fight verbally (don't wanna end up being suspnded lol) and after that, they just stop making fun of her. i also some good memories, i met and gained some new friends
