I'm so sorry that you're feeling lonely about spending New Years Eve with your family but without a special friend. Why don't you get together with some of your friends and have your own party? If you're not old enough to "go out", your family might let you invite your friends over to your room or maybe the basement. It doesn't really take much to make a party - the people are the most important thing. All you need is snacks, drinks and music. Fun is where you find it and what you make it. I'm one of the old fogies - I'm staying in with my husband and I doubt we'll even make it to midnight. He has to get up way too early! I'm just grateful that I have someone I care about to spend it with - someone who's family.
