I have inherited a lot of traits from both of my parents. Its pretty crazy how even of a mixture I am. For one, I recieved my nose from my mother. Its roundness and softness are a direct reflection of hers. Secondly, I recieved my ears from my father. His are small, as are mine. Then there are my almoned shaped eyes. As far as my eyes go, I obviously inherited those from my father as well. My stern personality and refusal to back down in any given situation I recieved from my mother. My calmness and easy to get alongness, as well as my nice characteristic came from my father. I am a nice person, but as soon as I feel crossed, I will be vocal about it. My appetite I also got from my father. He is able to eat mass amounts of food without so much as picking up a single pound it seems like. I too can eat a lot of food without picking up weight. My frame also came from my father. He is not tall, however is frame is quite small. Small, yet musclar at the same time. I too have a skinny shaped frame like his. I cant complain however, for sometimes that is a good thing. Especially in the eyes of todays society. Some other characteristics that I got from my mother include the inability to say that "I am sorry" all the time. Even though in some situations I may be in the wrong- it still does not change the fact that I do not find it easy to say those words. My mother suffers from the same inability for she has been wrong with me on numerous occassions and has only said that she truely apologizes for something only once. But there is nothing I can do about that. I love my parents both, unconditionally. Although they might not have characteristics that I like, it is obvious that I have characteristics that they themselves dont like in themselves, but it reflected upon in me.

Yes it is natural we do look more like our mom, dad, grand mom or grand father. This called genealogy. My elder son is just like his maternal grand papa. I mean he is like the father of my wife. Tall, good car driver, very clever, chain smoker, and so many habits of his maternal grand pa are their in his personality. My other son is just like a carbon copy of my own personality. He is my follower. He is studying well and I hope that he will get his destination of his successful life. I see physical as well as mental trait in my second son. This is natural.

Well, I have my father's physical features -his nose, teeth, eyebrows- but everyone who's seen us says I look just like my mother. And, I don't share any individual traits with her.

Although I was adopted I new my birth parents so I can say that physically I am more like my mother but closer to my father's height.
WHo I am, my personality, my values.. I think I"m more like my dad - my adoptive dad that is.
