Big Brother 9 starting in February?

I found this out today in another discussion. I guess CBS is doing a winter version of Big Brother beacsue of the writer's strike? I'm actually excited- there has been nothing to watch on TV for weeks!!
So what do you BB fans think of this? Will you watch? And do you think they will still ahve a summer version of the show?

I dont really think its because of the strike. I think they just decided to try something new. I heard about this on cbs. I know how you feel about not having anything to watch. Everything is reruns.

This is very exciting to me. I love Big Brother. I am so tired of watching nothing, so it will definitely fill up some nights. I also heard that Survivor is starting in feb and a new Biggest Looser starts Jan 1. I would much rather watch these reality shows anyways!
I do however miss my desperate housewives and greys anatomy.

I love Big Brother and would watch it year round if I could. LOl I hope they still have a summer season. I think they will. I'll miss all of my regular winter shows, but I support the strike, so I'm not going to complain. Happy viewing!
