Number of posts??

Welcome to myLot! The number you will see beside your username which is inside the parenthesis is your total or overall number of posts. I hope you would enjoy participating in this myLot community. Yes, as what other's say, it is the number of your post. If in case you have made more than of what you see, it maybe because you either haven't received any response to those of which you have started posting. A post you made shall only be credited if a discussion has already occured, that number increases when you RESPOND and CREATE or start discussions. Commenting on other people's response will not count, it should a legit response you made..

That number is the total number of posts you've made. That includes discussions you have started AND responses you've made to other people's discussions. If you think it should be higher then you must have had some things deleted. You should read the guidelines and FAQs before posting any more so you know what you can and can't do here. Briefly though, one liners are not generally welcomed, questions requiring a yes or no answer only are not good, and questions requiring one word responses are not acceptable either.

The number that is located underneath your name represents the number of discussions you have responded to. Notice how it goes up further and further the more discussions you do respond to. Also, you will notice that a star with a number will appear over your name after you reach 100 responses. This is your mylot rating. After today, when they update their records, mylot will also rank your interest- that is, they will rank how you stand in activity with others that are in your same interest group.
