Have i had a crush on him?What should i do?

Well...he`s my classmate.we have been classmates for more than three years.But we didn`t talk to each other oftenly. Recently,we have a chance.And i have found he`s a smart and thoughtful guy.I like him,but i don`t know whether i love him.My friend told me to take the initiative.But i m afraid of making things worse.What should i do now?I really don`t know.

Call him on phone wish him well ,say happy new year greetings to him, Send him cards with sweet words and keep constant chatting or communication with him, playfully ask him his love life or does him has a girl friend, even if yes, tell him that you love him, A good and smart guy will definitely understand what you meant and respond back to you.
if possible invite him out

Well I think you should go for it and let him know, you will never know if you let him wait and he doesn't let you know and you let the oppurtunity slip by. The worse that can happen is that he will say he just likes you as a friend...it is better knowing than 10 years down the road still wondering if it would have worked out for you 2. i know it may be hard to do but it will be worth it knowing.

Well maybe get to know him a little better. If he is a nice guy like you say and you seem to be getting closer go on a few dates then see where it goes...it is better to do it slowly if you might think of him as just a friend...you seem young have some fun...don't worry about what he is going to say to you...if he is a nice guy he will be honest with you and you might go far with him in a relationship.If he is a jerk about the whole thing or even little things along the way it is not worth it. Don't waste your time on him. You are better than that and can find someone better

or you will regret it like me... on highschool i have crush on my classmate too, and i cry when we graduated because i never said 'i like him'.

Agreed!
I had a classmate/coworker that I had a horrible crush on. I eventually got the nerve to at least say hello - and I was glad I did. It turned out we weren't a match after getting to know him better - but I'm glad I at least made friends with him as he moved away soon after. I'm sure I would have regretted it if I never tried.
