Yes, lower back pain is very common in pregnancy! The body is going through many hormonal changes and there is also ligament stretching that contributes to that achey lower back pain....it's just the body preparing itself for the upcoming birth! :) It's actually a really amazing process-the pregnancy lasts for 9 months, but the body is constantly changing from the very begining-growing, shifting and stretching! Some women experience it more than others (and some don't feel it at all!) but it is absolutely natural!
