People may be passionate about their favorite sports team, but if you really want to get them fired up, ask what Web Browser they use!
Ever wonder which browser was the fastest of them all? Wonder what the deal was between Opera and Firefox? Or why Safari seems to blow the other browsers away on a Mac?
Well find out here in this mega thread discussion! I'll start us off!
Many people get hyped up in discussions about their favorite web browser, which one is better etc. But do we really know which is faster/better? There's all manner of groups of people who use different web browsers.
There's the, "if it ain't broken, don't fix it" crowd, who usually tend to stick with the Web Browser included on their operating system. (i.e. Internet Explorer on a PC, Safari on a Mac.) There are the "I've just gotta be me" folks who prefer lesser-known browsers, such as Opera or DragonFly. Then still, there are those "live free or die trying" open source true believers who Champion Mozilla Firefox over all else.
And finally, here are those people who simply demand the best browsing experience out there. They'll defend they're favorite browser to death because they think it kicks all other browsers butts in terms of elegance, security, features, ease of use and so on. But if a better option comes along, they'll happily switch and speak out just as loudly for their new browser of choice.
What group do you fall in? Which is the better browser? Discuss!

not necessarily, you can get viruses and trojans from any web browser via downloading infected links/files.
You can't argue Firefox is better because of it's virus issues, because every web browser is the same. There is little to no protection vs. viruses from browsers.
