How should one respond to bed wetting?

i keep telling my daughter who is age 5 to empty her bladder before going to sleep but still she ended up urinating during the night. at times i get so frustrated and ending up scolding her, and then feeling guilty later on.

Dont scold her for it. Its not her fault. Make sure she dosent drink anything 2 hours before bed and goes potty right before bed. Children take a while to get to know the feeling of having to go when there asleep. Eventually she will get the point and get up in the night. If this is a constant thing she might have a bladder problem. If you try no drinks and she still pees the bed talk to the doctor about it. I know its annoying to have to change the sheets and her clothes in the night but you have to.
