Are online friendships easy to build?

I'm not sure that i would say that making friends online is easy, it does take some time. I think the most important thing is finding someone online who is honest with you and you with them. I have made several friends online just by talking and sharing our common interests. You have got to be willing to take the time to chat with them, or email them to keep in touch even when your life is busy. Just as in real life situatuions, it takes some effort on your part to be a good friend.

I think it's a lot easier to build up friendships on the internet because most people even though they see or look at your profile from time to time. I find it easier because some times people judge me because of my size andwith this I can look at it as a way to talk to people with out them saying, I don't want to talk to her because she's over weight.

I am suck at making friends online. I literally don't have much friends online and on real life. No matter how hard I try, and I don't offend them in any manner. Maybe the topic I talk about just too boring for them to hear.
