I have read so many books this year! I would have to say that the best book I read was Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows. I have read everybook in the series and I even pre ordered this book, Like I did with the 4-6th one. :) But this one had to be the best one out of the series, even though it was the last one.
I also read 20th Century Ghost by the new Author Joe Hill. This was a book of short stories written by Joe HIll and they of course were scary stories. I thought that his writing was different and very creative. I might not have enjoyed how his stories ended but I did enjoy how they kept me on the edge of me seat with goosebumps up and down my arms.

early this year, i was finally able to read to kill a mockingbird. it is indeed a classic by harper lee. since college, i was trying to look for the book. it was worth the wait and moment of reading it. i was brought to the 20th century american setting where "racism" was prevalent. it is insightful.

That was one of my favorite books that we had to read in Jr. High School and High School. I only liked a few that we had to read. Which To Kill a Mokingbird was my second favorite. The Outsiders beat it just by a little bit.. But it beat Romeo and Juliet. LOL.. But I do agree it is a classic:)

I own H.P. and the Deathly Hollows. Haven't yet found the time to read it. Maybe spending too much time on mylot. No! Nobody ever spends too much time here lol. Most of my reading these days comes from reading books to my daughter, and helping her learn to read. So I could rattle off a bunch of childrens literature for you like 'The BIGGEST,Best Snowman' You get the idea.I am working my way thru a later novel by Anne Rice from 2003 "Blood Canticle" see I do have some catching up to do.

I would say the best book of 2007 was Making Money, by Terry Pratchett. It's hilarious, and now one of my top three favorites from him (the other two are Hogfather and Monstrous Regiment).

Harry Potter was good. I read so many this past year. .but I would suggest 'Pagan's Crusade' by Catherine Jinks. It was sarcastic and totally dry humor. I liked it. When I want to check out a new book, I go to Barnes and Noble website and 'read an excerpt' that way I can preview new books, to see if I like them.

I havent heard of that one. I should put that on my paperbackswap.com list for I can remember to read it. I go to amazon.com since that is usually where I buy the books if I want to buy the book, I will read the excerpt there.
