My hair has not started to turn yet, I am only a few years behind you. I'm not sure when my mom started to turn grey cause she has always colored her hair as long as i can remember. I have stoppedcoloring mine, just cause it gets expensive and kills your hair. I will start again when i start to go grey though! :) It makes you look so much younger when you cover up the greys with a color that looks nice on you, something close to your original :) Now i need to find some wood to knock on or something so i dont jinx it, and wake up tommorrow with a full head of grey hair!! lol. Why doesn't your boyfriend like your hair dyed ? Is it the color you were using? Or is it just you dying it all together ? Maybe you should ask them to help you pick out a color more suited to your skin tone and stuff :) But if you are comfortable with your greying do, that's perfectly fine too! I just think my mom looks a lot younger with her hair dyed. . :) Good luck with your hairy dilema :)

My gray hair - Me at 29, sporting all my gray hair. I have even more now at 31.
Ha. I started going gray when I was 13 or so. That is when I first noticed the first stray gray hair on my head. By 20 it was noticeable. Now at 31--it is very obvious, even when my hair is in a pony tail (before you couldn't notice when it was pulled up). I used to go get my hair cut at 25 and the stylist would always ask, "do you know you are going gray?" Uh, duh, it is my head, lol. I've never colored my hair, though. Gray is just part of who I am, although, now that I am over 30 I am considering it because it just makes me feel old and I'm not old.

It's funny that I decided to read this post because just last night I found that I had way more greys than I thought I had. I was combing my hair and looking in the mirror. I said - "What in the world?!!" Honey we are the same age and I found about 8 to 10 grey hairs and I didn't even know they were there. Lol!! My hair is a reddish brown with a little black in it, so it makes them hard to see, but I guess when they start to show more, I will sport them with pride!! Smile!!

You should consider yourself very lucky that you still have a full head of hair. Not only am I severely balding on top, but the hair I do have left is greying....a double whammy....I just shave it all off and am done with it.
