Which sever or host should I choose for my blog?

I have no idea when it comes to blogging. I dont really even get what a blog is. Other then someone typing a journal online, which really to me is kinda weird. Why would you want just anyone to be able to read your inner thoughts that you write down? Maybe i am wrong, maybe that is not what a blog is about.. Maybe you can explain to me what one does when they have their own blog:)

Hi Lyn, Wordpress is one of the most robust blogs in the planet. It's available in 2 flavours, one is to create a user in their site and have a domain with their name in it like ****.wordpress.com . This isn't professional, though free. The other flavor is to have you own domain name and space and then ran the wordpress blog in it. There are a thousands of ready made templates you can choose, all for free. You can then apply for payperpost to monetise it and start earning and recover what you have spent on domain name and space. I suggest you www.Blogger.com Its free, has no bandwidth limits. At wordpress, freewebs etc you have to pay for getting more bandwidth. its very easy to use. i have my blogs at blogger only.

my blog is using wordpress. it is free. it has ready-made templates from which you can choose. wordpress is very user-friendly. two months ago, i was like you thinking of having my own blog. i chose wordpress because it is free and easy to use. try it!

I find livejournal.com to be the easiest to navigate. There is also www.thumblogger.net www.blogspot.com as well. They are all good sites that are easy to navigate and you just sign up for a user name and account. You don't have to pay for them, and they also are easy to update!
