What TRUE FRIENDS are

Friends are those people who want the best of us.
They know when to help or when to withhold help.
They know our fears, our kiliti, our responses, our likes and dislikes.
They don't judge.
They wait for the right moment.
They let you grow.
They allow you to make mistakes.
And help you get up when you've fallen.
They don't say 'I told you so."
They just help as much as they can.
They give, even when it hurts.
They help, even when unappreciated.
They love, even when rejected.
They know their boundaries.
They wait...for their friends to come through.
People who always laugh with us are not necessarily our friends. Real friends stick through tears. And people who agree with us are not always our friends. Sometimes, they don't know what's best for us or they just don't know better.

those persons who you feel comfortable to be with..they are unknowingly capable of bringing out the real you..you can call them anytime w/o worrying that you may ran out of topics to discuss...they can cheer you up when your down and can criticize you at your face..plus you feel happy and secured to be with them.

I like this! Thank you so much for sharing it. I had a fight with my friend on Sunday. It didn't make me feel very good. We've both said I'm sorry...but it just doesn't feel the same. Both of us are still a little angry, so I'm sure that things will be ok when tempers are under control and we've had a little more time. We've been best friends since we were in first grade and we're both 41 now.

i think i'm a good friend even if i say "i told you so" after a friend of mine commits a mistake that i warned her about. sometimes, being a good friend is about letting them learn from their mistakes. we give a logical, reasonable advice but they can make the decision for themselves. if they're wrong in their decision, it's not bad to point it out to them. (based on my experience...)

Wow, thanks for sharing this with us. It is true that real friends strick through tears. They are very supportive to us and they will really help us in times of our troubles and needs. :-)
