I brain storm all the time. My current brain storm is a wind mill with no wind. I live in an area where I can not build a 40 foot wind mill in my yard. The plan is to use a stater and a pin size hole of air or the air from my furnace or a combination of both to generate the power I need to supplement my current power consumption. The amount of research needed is amazing. The testing is in a very infant stage. I an confident I can make it work.

Now that is an interesting idea. I'm trained in HVAC, but have never thought about using the blower to make electricity. Let me know how it works out.

Well air flow is very very important, but not so much in the ducts as much across the coils. So I think it will depend on where you put the turbine.

my thought is that the blower will be running for a good portion of the time anyway. If I can harness the air it puts out with out disturbing the way it heats or cools my house then It should work. How critical is the air flow? would a little restriction make the unit not perform well? They currently use whirly birds on top of the house to generate electricity. But I don't think they put out A lot of power. As the heat rises in the house and escapes out the roof it turns the turbine witch runs the generator. Its all very interesting. I will let you know how it turns out.

I know what you mean, brain-storming can be chaotic but effective if the team stays focused.

participation of team members is very important... and the best way to run brainstorming smoothly is to have a fix and specific topic or line of discussion... that is, to have a meeting of mind... some members will have nice idea but they are often ignored because they seem weird but sometimes also they are the best ones... they sprung from what we call "Lateral Thinking"...

I like your question a lot .Brain-storming is something I recently discovered ,unfortunately didn't have the opportunity to practice it,I'm sure many of us haven't had it either.
I'm sure it is something of great help to people in need for an answer.

It is definately a tool in your toolbox. You wont use it all the time, but when you can use it...it will be there. Thanks for commenting.
