I fell in love with Ghana when I visited in 2004.
We were visiting Diana and Kobi Kwansai when my ex husband Joe was studying fish farming methods there as part of his PhD. Kobi, (the manager of Barclay's in Ghana), had a fantastic 60th birthday party marquee in his garden whilst we were visiting and alot of Barclay's staff from all over the world were invited. I loved the community spirit and friendliness of the people, the markets, the culture, everything! During our stay we visited Kakum Park rainforest, where there were high rope bridges which were scary to cross but amazing all the same. I would love to find out how Diana and Kobi are doing now as they were extremely kind and good to our family during our stay and I will never forget them. Joe, my ex husband was not entirely honest about his intentions of his visit to Ghana because he led Diana into thinking we would move to Ghana to set up a free range fish ranch. My daughter has a chronic lung disease so I could not have gone to live in Africa, healthcare etc. If anybody knows or could pass on my details to Diana and Kobi I would love to say hello and give them my best wishes.
