Cat loves. . .melon?! What food does your pet love?

I was watching my sister's cat while she was away, and I was eating some melon. The cat meowed and meowed until I gave her some! She loved it! Especially cantaloupe. What strange foods do your pets love?

I've known many cats that like cantalope and watermelon. I had one that also liked strawberries. I couldn't see how any harm could come from giving my cats fruit. So why not? And it's fun watching them eat it.

You're right; it doen't harm them. I was eating a grapefruit when my very own cat came over and pulled at my hand (with the spoon in it). So I held it over to him. He smelled it, then drew back with a look like; "you're eating THAT?!". Grapefruit is apparently not his thing.

My cat loves english muffins. I think he actually likes to lick the butter off. He also likes my baby's rice cereal. I guess because I mixed it with formula.

My dog loves the candy dots. We keep them in a little plastic container and when we come in from walking her she will sit on the bed and stare at the top of the dresser where the candy is and bark for the candy. Then if you want to play with her about the candy you can pretend to eat a piece and she will start howling at you! Oh and if we bring home fast food she will cry for french fries. She especially loves them if they are from McDonalds or Wendys.
