How do you define home?

Home for me is a unicorn. It's a mythical thing I have been chasing my whole life, and never quite found. The place where I live is definitely not home. It's a rented apartment in a town I like but still don't feel at home in after living here for almost 10 years. The place where I grew up I might refer to as a prison before I would refer to it as home. So home is mythical for me. I sometimes feel close to it, but not quite there... as if any moment I might turn the corner and find "home".

It is my very special humble abode, which shared with my parents, can still be one of the most favorite relaxing places I love to retreat to and in, over and over again.

Home is anywhere I could live with my s/o. It wouldn't matter if it was a 5 bedroom house or a one bedroom apartment, as long as we were together. I also look at home as a safe haven, where you can go, be yourself, and not have to be stressed by the outside world.

Home is where the family lives together. it is where we start from, the place we always seek.
