Now I think this man has one of the best voices for audio books out there. Now not being weird but he does have a really calm and powerful voice. Anybody else like his voice, or am I just weird?

I too think Morgan Freeman is perfect for audio books, not only is his voice caly and powerful, but it is grippin and has that sound to it, mysteriouse kind of, that makes you want to listen to what he has to say.

Gosh, I don't know how I missed this discussion. Anytime Morgan Freeman is in the mix...I am all eyes & ears. There is nothing about him that isn't beautiful, and the quiet power of his voice is the ultimate! Thanks for paying tribute to a wonderful actor/person in all aspects.

I agree completely. He has a wonderful voice. And did you see him in Black Snake Moan? He's not exactly a great singer, but he can sure belt out some blues. There's another movie with him called Honeydripper, which I'm dying to see. He plays and sings in that one, too. I love the guy. I'll see almost anything he's in. And you may be weird or not, but you show some good taste.
