Who are you most grateful to? Are they still living? What did they do to help you? Was it a chance meeting? Was it someone who taught a valuble lesson?

Hello dear northwoods. There are two people who have been greatest influence in my life and my career. One was my grandfather and another was my English teacher. When I was at thirteen in the junior high school, my grandfather was very helpful to me with my English lessons and I started to like this subject very much. And when I graduated from junior high school and was going to senior high school at fifteen, my English teacher asked me to have English as my major as I was among the top students in English exams and study. I made greater progress in my English study and could always be among the top students. Later when I went to college, English was finalized as my major. After graduation, I started to work as an English teacher and I have been engaged in English teaching ever since.
So these two people have the great influence in my life and career. I appreciate them both very much, but I am sorry to say that my grandfather has passed away for almost two decades and I cannot find my favorite English teacher even if I have been trying to. Still I am sure that I will be able to find him some day so long as I am persistent in doing so. They are both in my heart with great gratitude. Thanks so much for your discussion that reminds my grandfather and my English teacher.

The longer I live, there is more and more chance for people to positively effect my life and to teach me lessons how to be grateful. Thank you so kindly for sharing information that is very special. I am sure many people can relate to teachers having had a great impact over their lives.

My grandmother (who has passed) would be one of the influences in my life.I loved her dearly. I even named my daughter after her. She was a giving person. Kind to everyone. She always had a positive attitude. It got me through some difficult times. My mom would be the other influence. She is awesome and I love her! She is a survivor! Tough and beautiful all at once. She is the original lemon into lemonade gal. I hope I have qualities from each of these women.
