How you would use them in a sentence would be helpful ...

Ah yes, seeing the word in print focusing on a concept, bringing it into cognitive understanding . . . always helps to expand the vocabulary and become more literate, intellectually-stimulating and diversified in thought, presentation, diction, tense, style and tone.
Such a joy seeing languages being understood besides just being used.

Hi, I agree both of you. However, I just use English as a second language and the most urgent for me is to read and watch TV freely. In the initial state, my object is to recognize the commonly used words. Or I can't stand I just sit like a deaf and dummy before TV.

So what are you trying to get here? Everyone to participate by adding a word that starts with 's' that is not already on your list ?
Ok . . . sabbatical, scintillating, scoundrel, selfish, serendipity, shallow, shining, sorority, special, spectacular, statistic, surreal, swashbuckler, sworn, sweltering
Is that what you had in mind ?

hi, just make a record for myself. Those are the hardest words that I can remember! My objection is to learn more popular words so that I can read newspapers and watch TV freely.

And I want to get higher rate by writing them in mylot too. So I use it as a draft book. I hope I can reach the rate 500 earlier. I hate the rule that I can't paste. It is so ifficult for me to write every word by meself. I hope I can paste the word I need from the electronic dictionary directly. It would be wonderful if I can paste in mylot. Why does mylot provide an option that people can paste if they claim they give up the right to earn money? I just want to make friends and practice my English here, because I have calculated that I can't make much money here even though I keep writing here height hour a day, like treating a job. I just want to enjoy! Does anyone have the same point?
