how do you prevent ants from getting into your laptop?

i really hate it! some ants keeps crawling in my laptop even if i placed it on a clean surface. they say it damage your computer. i was wondering if how can you prevent anats from doing so? is there such a thing as a solution that will make them off your computer or can you bring your laptop to your service center and have it clean?

Holy smokes!!! I have never hear of something like that before. Ants entering a Laptop. Well my opinion is that is not the laptop you need to take care of man, is the house you live in. Ants get anywhere so you can't get them out unless they want to. Put yourself together and clean your house more often.

Try putting some cornmeal down right where the Ants are, they say that cornmeal will run them away. I hope that helps.

do you eat while you are using your laptop?? LOL
i don't know how to prevent ants from coming to your laptop. a few ants too would come to my computer and i just don't know why. maybe we can spray it with pesticides. LOL

ah it's annoying. These ants are just stubborn! I don't want to have to take my laptop and have it cleaned by someone. Sheeesh.
Maybe i should have someone clean it up anyway. so annoying!

Yes this is very annoying.Try to vaccum your keys and if you know how to disassemble it , do it have it vacummed from inside , but be gentle .And to avoid this in future remenber not to eat or drink when using your laptop because your hands are touching the food and laptop at the same time and it will only draw more and more ants to your laptop.Also wash your hands before you use laptop , if you just ate or had a drink :)

i have never experienced ants around my laptop before, but what about trying to kill them where they come in? prevent them from ever getting to the laptop
